Activity 'Time-blocks'

Please check this list to see if an activity qualifies for the Award and how long it counts for. This list will be regularly updated.

• Wii-Fit Board - Activity 'C' - exact time as displayed on the Wii game
• Other Wii games - most other Wii games do not qualify (although some exceptions e.g. Wii Sports 'Boxing' - an adult should give a reasonable time-block such as 15mins)
• Walking the dog - does not count unless it is a long, fast-paced and continuous walk.
• Walking into town: A stroll or short walk into town cannot count. However, a fast-paced walk (without stopping), over a reasonable distance would qualify. Parents would have to use 'reasonable' judgement on this!
• Indoor Bowling Club - This is a recognised club and can count for Type B (although not very physically active!). Informal Ten-pin cannot count as there is very little actual activity.
