Increasing physical activity levels of 7 - 11 year olds

Awards and Prizes

GOLD Awards must be very strictly assessed and validated by the PLT. There will be several forms of prizes:

• Certificates – provided by the Partnership for all G-S-B winners
• Badges (sew-on and/or pin-on) and/or medals – parents may order the badges/medals, paying the requested amount (probably £1) to cover the cost. Badges available for all G-S-B winners.
• GOLD winners will receive special awards provided by the Partnership – possible examples include: VIP trip to local sporting event; VIP ‘Coaching day’ in school time with the local Development Officers (Tennis, Rugby, Cricket, Golf, Football, Multi-skills, etc)
• ‘Hall of Fame’ - names listed on the website.
• Trophies for ‘most active’ classes/schools.
• (**TO BE CONFIRMED**) GOLD Award winners will be entered into a draw for a special award prize – e.g. Mountain-biking day in Dalby Forest, ‘Go Ape’ visit (Dalby Forest), Horse Riding, Sporting Celebrity visit, etc. (Sponsorship and/or YST finance may make this possible)
