I have had a few queries as to the larger/smaller school split. Nothing further was suggested at the Sports Association Meeting so I have stayed with the 'trusted' format. The schools have been separated according to Y5/6 numbers as shown above - a minimum of 7 have been placed into the 'Larger Schools' Comp'. Possible idea for next year: The 4 largest schools (GRJS,Northstead,Barrowcliff and Newby) automatically go through to the final. The remaining (15) schools would be drawn to play in 2 semi-finals, with the top 2 from each semi going through to the final. Please let me know your thoughts on this? Steve
Last year, a number of teams dropped out in January. Please try to avoid this happening again as it does cause major organisational headaches due to all the groupings now being set up.
